About Desiree Driesenaar
My inspiration is Blue Economy and the cluster economy that will generate value in local communities. My role is inspiring, training and initiating projects that will contribute to a change in attitude and action. I do this in the region Venlo, the Netherlands, and in the international Blue Economy community. With my extensive background in business (international marketing manager, business unit manager, consultant), I build bridges between our old economy and the new one.
Additionally I believe in the power of story, so I write articles and fiction and I inspire on stage. In the past 3 years I coached many TEDx Venlo speakers. Additionally I have given workshops 'pitch like TED' and 'storytelling' for companies and groups of students.
