This service is intended for those who would consider themselves of beginner -to- intermediate skill in using computer systems and would like to learn about Linux-based Operating Systems, how to install them, and the basics of navigating/usage of them.
You will learn
* How to research the distribution that is right for you
* How to install it (many methods exist!)
* How to use it for the first time
* Basic Terminal Commands
* How to use a Package Manager, (resources to install applications and programs on Linux)
* Methods to "make it your own"!
I will also be very happy to answer any questions, and point you in any direction needed to sharpen your skills or learn about related fields in computing to include programming, networking, and so on.
Training & Qualifications
I am a graduate candidate at Texas Woman's University in the field of Computer Science! I have spent many years learning the ins and outs of computer systems, programming, networking, and usage of many different operating systems, etc.
I wholly intend on a career in programming, and would love to share my knowledge with you!
