I am a soon-to-be graduate majoring in Data Science and seeking to work in data analytics or software development. I am a strong proponent of interdisciplinary work and am interested in the applications of technology in healthcare and urban planning in particular. I hope to utilize the massive amounts of information available to us today to seek practical solutions to real world problems. Most of my work experience relates to teaching children and conducting research in both the social sciences and hard sciences. These experiences have taught me to be adaptable,dependable, and communicative ; all of which I hope to use in my career going forward.

I have familiarity working in both Linux and Windows settings and am proficient in Python,C++,and HTML. I am also familiar with Hadoop,SQL, and JavaScript. I have worked in many groups to create different web applications and am currently teaching myself Java. I'm always open to learning and combining new technologies and love to work group settings.
