About Dakota Gillette

Hello, my name is Dakota Gillette. I have always been interested in art, as well as computers. Web Design & Development seems to be the perfect degree for melding my two passions. I started college fu...ll time a few months before I turned 17. I attended Chemeketa Community College Online. The classes I took essentially counted towards college and high school. After two years at Chemeketa, I started attending Eastern Oregon University on campus, which was conveniently located in my hometown of La Grande, Oregon. I immediately started working towards a Bachelor's in Multi-Media at EOU. I took many great classes, and made a few good friends while attending EOU. Sadly, due to budget cuts, they removed their entire Multi-Media, Film, and Computer Science Program in early 2015. I began to research schools in fields I was interested in, and came across Full Sail. FSU has always been a school I had dreamed of attending, but I never realized it could be a reality. In Fall of 2015 I began attending FSU in hopes of a Bachelor's of Science in Web Design & Development. While attending FSU I began freelancing through Upwork.com, as well as starting my own company, SG Gourmet, LLC. I graduated from Full Sail University in late 2016 and shortly thereafter joined the team at Anderson Perry. I look forward to what the future holds! show more
