In this ten or six week pregnancy, birth, and newborn care series, you will learn strategies for a healthy and comfortable pregnancy, a safe and satisfying birth, a successful breastfeeding relationship, and a gentle transition into parenthood. This is the most comprehensive childbirth class offered in Monterey County.

-25 hours of in class instruction

Why so many weeks?
Up until a 100 years ago you would have seen others in your community birth naturally before you yourself did it, because birth happened at home with the mother being supported by family and friends. You would have seen and heard what a truly physiologic birth was like, which is now only about 1% of births in the US. I've put this class together to offer in one series what you would have learned over years
