Occupational therapists are trained to help individuals increase their independence with all daily activities. After an injury, someone might have a decrease in their performance of self-care tasks, household management skills, sleep, leisure participation, education, work, or play. Any difficulties with activities in your daily life can be addressed by occupational therapist.
I have worked in a long-term acute care setting, a skilled nursing facility, and currently work in home health. I also have experience in mental health. Most of my clients are older adults, however I have worked with individuals of all ages. Training & Qualifications
I have a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from LSU-Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. My Bachelor Degree is in Biochemistry from LSU-Shreveport.
Availability & Preferences
I am most available on the weekends, from 8-10, but can schedule appointments during the week around this time as well. After work is difficult for me, as I have 3 children and a wife to spend time with.
