Occupational therapists are trained to help individuals increase their independence with all daily activities. After an injury, someone might have a decrease in their performance of self-care tasks, household management skills, sleep, leisure participation, education, work, or play. Any difficulties with activities in your daily life can be addressed by occupational therapist.
I have worked in a long-term acute care setting, a skilled nursing facility, and currently work in home health. I also have experience in mental health.
