How does a 30-minute comprehensive guitar lesson sound to you? Awesome right? Either one time or reoccurring. I am a local hard-working individual looking to get out there and spread the joy of music through teaching. I grew up in the area and studied music theory and industry at university in Boston. With my teaching experience I can help you to become the great guitar player you always wanted to be or just proficient enough to play that song you really enjoy.

I have an adept knowledge of music theory and guitar technique that I pass on to my students at their own pace. Usually it is a leisurely pace, but if you want to go quickly we can do that also! You know, if you're just one of those guys that only wants to learn one song real quick to swoon your sweetheart, that's cool too! But of course, if you actually want to learn how to play the guitar at a solid level, as if it were truly an extension of your body, than that is not the route I would suggest going down lol. Weekly lessons are a good way to ensure and establish a working and lasting knowledge of the guitar as an instrument.

I'm a well seasoned guitarist familiar with playing many genres including rock, funk, folk, blues, jazz, pop, metal and country- in that order. That being said I specialize in mostly rock and funk guitar. I can teach you the songs that you've always wanted to play. Typically I show my students some theory along with a song of their choice during lessons. The music theory portion that is taught initially includes things such as scales and chord structure related to the music that the student wants to learn. Beginner to Intermediate skill level. I can offer you lessons for the acoustic or electric guitar, which ever you have or prefer. I am experienced with both.
