I'm an amateur poet and I'll write you a poem based on your ideas! :) You can send me the theme/experience you want to express in the poem and I'll write it. I don't like copying other poets' style so I won't agree to style imitation requests. However, you can let me know the poets you like or a particular rhyme scheme (I've written poems in iambic pentameter for example). I've previously won city-wide and school-wide poetry awards.

Here is an example of a poem I've written:

Thibault

I will not let anyone say,
‘He was not one of the bravest.’
Your name rang loud mischievous fire
as brown eyes raced to ignite
sheets and layered sheets
of brandy coloured paper:
charcoal they became
as they met your lilting gaze.

No they will not wear black,
that colour of conservation and darkness,
that politeness in the world of civility –
you were none of that.
You broke all the rules unthinking
but you died as fire
and we mourn you for the same.

We sat in the corner that day,
you laughed like a roar
and you told me, in a conspiring whisper,
‘I want to be a thief when I grow up,
steal paintings in the British Museum.’
It didn’t surprise me when you said it.

The room buzzed with your frenzied energy,
olive skinned, wild black mane,
it all captured me into laughter with you.
In the back of my mind I always knew,
knew you could be the best thief in the world,
a naughty Robin Hood in this modern age,
you had the brains to do it.

We all carry you within us, Thibault,
the adventurer you could have become.
Roaming, we will fight and turn heads
as we crush through the battlements.
Like Pan, the god of mischief and hunt,
We all feel you beside us,
Out of this world as unending fire
Enflaming zodiacs into dust.
