I have worked in the Green Industry in a variety of capacities and understand the needs of researchers, producers, and consumers. I am looking for networking oppurtunities in the industry particularly related to supply chains, producers, the economics of the industry, and management within the Green Industry.

I currently work as a Plant Specialist and Buyer for The Sill where I combine a knowledge of plant health, maintenence,, quality control and the industry to effectively facilitate the buying of plant stock with the fulfillment of commercial orders while maintaining a high standard of product. I have worked as a store manager at Redwood Florist, LLC, allowing me to combine management, customer service, and design skills. I have previous experience as a lab assistant and intern for multiple agricultural research projects at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I constantly try to combine the knowledge I gained from these diverse locations in a dynamic fashion.

My previous experience in customer service and management lends itself to effective communication with both colleagues and management and a highly organized way of working, especially when working within a deadline. I have worked in both a retail and a research environment and have learned how to effectively organize and communicate in diverse situations. I am a fast learner who loves to apply book knowledge with practical application, but knows that sometimes the best answer in found outside of a textbook.
