I work as an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Univeristy of Washington with Prof. Gunther Uhlmann. My main are of research are inverse problems and imaging. I have worked on stability and reconstruction of inverse problems related to hyperbolic boundary value problems, medical imaging and visual perception. I got my PhD. in Mathematics at Purdue University under Prof. Plamen Stefanov.
I am interested in inverse problems because it is cross-disciplinary both within mathematics and across disciplines, including physical sciences, engineering, biology, among others. Thus, it allows me to apply beautiful and deep mathematics to problems with social and environmental impact.
