assess skills & go from there. For beginners; i'd show the basics and give mild instruction. Don't want to foil creativity before it's even had a chance to spark. Intermediate; I consider myself an intermediate player although I'm not sure where I actually sit in that category. I would again, assess skills and determine what can be taught. I am willing, but may be unable to teach any advanced courses.
