One hour guitar lesson, for beginners and intermediate students- covers intervals, how to read and write both on staff and tablature, scales, chords, ensemble playing- deep listening and when NOT to play, improvisation. How to find inspiration in everyday life.
I have been studying guitar since I was 12, and have a wide variety of musical interests- can play most styles and really encourage hands on time with your instrument, healthy practicing habits and building intuition in regards to ensemble playing.
Most of all, I try to help remind the student that music is supposed to be fun. I try to instill a joy of playing and offer encouragement regardless of what the student wishes to accomplish.
Music (guitar, in particular) gives my life an amazing balance point, and if I can share that with other people, I have done my job well.
Training & Qualifications
I am an active performing musician from Keizer, Oregon. I have been playing guitar, bass guitar and drums since the early 90's, and have played in many (in)famous bands locally since the mid nineties. I compose and collaborate with dance troupes and choreographers.

I am free Mondays- Thursdays 9 am to 9pm
