Save Money With PC Plus

As a former employee of President's Choice, I know just about all there is to know about the PC Plus Points card reward program. It's an incredible program - it's easy to sign up, easy to use, and easy to save. However, while working for them, I often found that customers had difficulty understanding or using the program, difficulty that I believe could have been avoided had somebody with a thorough understanding of the program been willing to explain it to them. I explained it to my customers as often as I could, but I wasn't always the clerk they saw, so sometimes, they'd be served by someone with less knowledge who wouldn't be able to explain the program or answer their questions.
I will help you learn to save with PC Plus. From getting a card to registering it, learning about point offers and cashing in your points, I will work with you to understand just how to save. I myself saved almost $250 on groceries in the first year that I was registered for the program, and I didn't even get the most use out of it that I could have had I known the ins and outs the way I do now.
Please note that participants in the program require a computer with internet connection in order to make the most out of their card. The PC Plus program is available in Canada only. Access to a grocery store under the Loblaws umbrella (excluding Shoppers Drug Mart) is necessary. The PC Plus program requires between 25 seconds and 2 minutes of your time each week in order to be used properly. If you don't have two minutes to spare each week, you won't be able to save big on groceries.
The package will consist of the following:
- 1 session registering your card and showing you how to navigate the website. This session will include showing you how to load your weekly offers and how to make changes to your account such as adding new cards or changing the status/usability of your card.
- 1 session after 4 weeks of use, basically to check in and make sure that everything is going well. After four weeks, you should have accumulated a handful of points, and the card should be starting to tailor its offers to you.
- 1 session to celebrate once you've accumulated 20,000 points! You don't have to redeem them right away, but it's worth celebrating that you've reached the point where your points are redeemable.
- 1 session teaching you how to use the PC Plus mobile app (optional.)
Training & Qualifications
I worked as a cashier in a Loblaws store for nearly two years. One of my duties was distributing PC Plus points cards and helping customers to understand how they could make the most out of the loyalty program. I helped customers to understand how the program worked, how to use it, and how to save using their points.
