About Brennan Stephens

An industry expert who has spent more than 12 years growing his experience in information systems management and security, Brennan has a proven ability to foster relationships to maintain safe and rel...iable avenues of digital collaboration in a growing financial business. Brennan spent the first 8 years of his professional life as a teacher just as the interconnected world was first being brought to bear on the challenges of education. During this time he designed curriculum and created systems that could better make use of this emerging technology and developed his passion for improving digital communication. He gained a unique perspective on the challenges of schools and non-profits when entering the online community. For 7 years at Child Care Services Assoc., Brennan maintained a multi-site network of over 100 workstations and multiple platforms. He ensured the security of multiple databases holding confidential client and financial data. In 2011, Brennan went to work as the Senior Systems Administrator for The Center for Community Self-Help and Self-Help Credit Union; the second largest state-chartered credit union in North Carolina. His accomplishments during his tenure have included redesigning the internal support system to gather feedback from users and track problems, moving email and document services a cloud-based architecture, supporting the merger with three other credit unions and more than doubling our number of branches, moving our core banking software from physical servers to a virtual platform, and creating a secondary data site for business continuity. Brennan also oversees all user support and 6 support staff. Brennan Stephens’ rare mix of direct end-user support, cost-effective problem solving, knowledge of security and networking practices, and proven leadership experience make him an ideal candidate for any team needing to grow their IT infrastructure in a secure way while offering a positive experience to users and more
