Edible Landscape Design

25 simbi per hour - Virtual OK

My favorite type of garden to work in or design is one where edibles are incorporated into the aesthetic - an edible and visually pleasing garden.

The Kitchen Garden can be just as beautiful as any ornamental one, and I'm here to help you make it happen.

Service by season:
Spring - plant a new garden if you provide the plants and seeds, redesign using new and existing plants.

Summer- Maintain and update an existing garden. Sow Fall crops if applicable.

Fall- Fall clean up: deadheading, weeding, add perennials provided.

Any Season or Out of Town - Virtual redesign of your garden space! We will discuss color, flavor, scent, and shape to make the most of your garden space. Wouldn't it be great to step right out your door into a beautiful, edible garden? Let's make it happen!

I'm excited about Simbi because I would love more opportunities to utilize my skills for my greater community. At the same time, there are some things that I could use a hand with. And so, I think Simbi has capitalized on a great idea, free exchange, for greater quality of life for all involved.

About Bonnie Hanna-Powers

Crafty, hands-on woman, budding herbalist, gardener, all around 'do-gooder'. I live for the love in the world. I reside in the city, with my partner, my cat, and copious houseplants. I visit my friend...s in the country, and plan to build a cabin there someday. My aspirations include becoming a clinical herbalist in the next ten years. I am always looking to learn new skills, especially ones of the DIY variety. Some DIY interests include: vermicomposting, blacksmithing, soap making, herbalism, permaculture design, calligraphy, baking from scratch, growing my own vegetables, homemade cleaning solutions, etc. I come from a performing arts background before moving closer to home and taking up herbal medicine. I have experience with booking tours for bands, packing tour vans, and a small amount of: lighting design, sound, set design, costume design. My dream life includes some self sufficiency, with a healthy amount of barter. I want to be a part of a strong local community, which involves sourcing goods and services from the community whenever more
