I will consult with you on a vision for your birth, educate you on the maternity care system. and listen to you. There is a lot of information and misinformation online. Friends and family may have your best interest at heart, and they may not know the facts. You get to be in charge of the entire experience.; including what follows the birth. Childbirth is a major transformation event, and it can be joyful. This is what I want for you. It is about trusting yourself, your body and the process. Together we will discover your individual birth philosophy and what you need. Do you know the two models of care for birth? What are your questions? Do you know what to ask your care provider? Are you fearful on anything? Is your partner on the same page? Do you have to take all the tests?
Training & Qualifications
I have been a doula since 1991. I have trained hundreds and worked with many new families. I have been an advocate for normal birth for all these years. I want to share what I know and guide you to being a conscious consumer of the 50 billion dollar birth industry.
