Sheena is a multidisciplinary artist and Performing Arts Educator from Montreal, Canada. She specializes in teaching voice, acting, musical theatre, ballet/dance and music composition/songwriting. As a guest lecturer at post-secondary institutions she has taught workshops on various performing and creative arts topics. Her workshops include topics ranging from musical theatre performance, character and audition preparation, to voice and body work, as well as experimental methods of interdisciplinary composition and performance practices. Her performing arts education includes an MA in Musical Theatre Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a BFA in Music Composition and Classical Voice from Concordia University, and additional studies at other prestigious academic establishments such as the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York and The National Ballet School of Canada. Sheena’s professional career has spanned twenty years as a singer, dancer, actor, composer, songwriter, musician, choreographer and director, both in Canada and abroad. Her professional experiences are specialized yet diverse, making it possible to teach a wide range of topics and disciplines as well as provide an array of perspectives within lessons.
