Her telepresence projects. She is the founding director of Poetic Societies | چمِبود, a multipresence multimedia non-profit that traces poetry as a fluid life quality. Curatorial projects include: "CULTURUNNERS" an ongoing artistic expedition across the U.S. and the Middle East and its weeklong workshop, and daylong Symposium at MIT’s Art, Culture and Technology Program; "FREEWAY", a podcast dedicated to the Middle Eastern enclaves in the U.S. presented at the Armory Show 2015; "Open Relationship", an eight-week workshop produced by The Back Room in collaboration with the Doris Duke Foundation, CultureHub, New York, Sazmanab Center for Contemporary Art, Tehran, and Mani Studio, Isfahan in 2014; "I Am Only a Reporter", an intensive research on the later works of Ardeshir Mohassess presented at the Modern Section of Art Dubai in 2014; and "A Call", a participatory performance with 80 performers between Aaran Gallery, Tehran, and White Box, New York. Artistic projects include: "Boteh-J", a subversive persona for women rights; "Conducting Studies", an ongoing process based investigation for registering, studying, and presenting the most significant musics, sounds and speeches in human history in collaboration with Marco Pinter and presented at NIME15 and the ISEA20; "SUBWAY", a participatory multi-locational performance that tests the subversive possibilities of digital media made in collaboration with Andrew Quitmeyer and presented at Eyebeam Art+Technology Center Activism Demo Day, NYC, ARTAUD FORUM 3: Theatre and Resonant Politics, Brunel University, London, and ARTSIT2013, among others. show more
