Any creator knows that honest, constructive feedback is essential to growth and developement, but it also can be difficult to come by. We've all been there: you work on a project for so long that you can barely tell what's going on anymore. So, in need of fresh eyes, you ask a friend or family member to take a look and tell you what they think, only to be met with "That's so awesome!" or "It looks/sounds so cool!" or some version of that. While the compliments are well- intentioned, they aren't exactly helpful. This is where I come in! I am fully versed in the elements and principles of art as well as the 12 principles of animation, and I've been trained in critical analysis of music, film, and literature. Whatsmore, I've been on the receiving end of critiques enough that, along with my experience in retail management sharpening my communication skills, I'm able to let you know what works and what doesn't work without leaving you feeling like crap.
