After years of taking laboratory classes and researching projects at the community college and university level, I am eager to begin my career as a microbiologist. Since earning my B.S. in Microbiology with a biomedicine concentration, I've been searching for the opportunity to work as an assistant for a highly reputable laboratory. My goal is to work with innovative researchers to gain field experience and continue my education so that I may acquire the skills and knowledge to eventually initiate my own research project. Ideally I would research bacteriophage therapy, oncolytic tumor viruses, and DNA vaccines.
"God give me unclouded eyes and freedom from haste. God give me a quiet and relentless anger against all pretence and all pretentious work and all work left slack and unfinished. God give me a restlessness whereby I may neither sleep nor accept praise till my observed results equal my calculated results or in pious glee I discover and assault my error. God give me strength not to trust to God!"
