About Anna Wilson

Anna Loisel Wilson is a unique blend of cultural colours. Born and raised in the tropics of the Philippines, educated in vibrant Hong Kong, and living in the young and hip city of Toronto, she is fear...less but humble. She is a student of nature, a teacher of languages and ethics, a daily caregiver and volunteer. She loves to work with people and problems. Problem-solving and building a positive morale are her assets. She is a team leader and a team worker who aims for development and efficiency at work and perfection in balance in her life. She loves artistic expressions and interpersonal communications. She has taught in international language schools in China and Canada; assisted in the growth and development of an international company by training and creating processes and manuals; translated for a Filipino documentary; managed the social activities department of a language school; and volunteered for non-profit organizations that aim to build communities, inspire high school students through art, reduce waste and educate new comers in Toronto. Currently, she is teaching English at Eurocentres during the day and developing her own theories and methodologies for English language acquisition during her off time. She is providing private classes after school to experiment with experiential learning. She is in the process of creating a learning model and business plan for her company, Englicious.show more
