About Anna Thomsen
A long time weaving project I've been working on is called "the art of belonging". I was meant to be a simple collection of my work made into an art show and has turned into an existential exercise. What is belonging? What is family? What is provincial? What is indigenous? All this has led to exploring new ways to belong and to be. New villages, new connections, new creations.
