Make Math Simple Again
15
I will provide private math tutoring, wherever you want (that I can get to on public transport easily). Courses I can tutor:
Algebra I & II
Geometry
Trigonometry
Precalculus
Calculus I-III
Linear Algebra
Differential Equations
Discrete Math
Proofs & Logic
Complex Analysis
I can't tutor statistics, sorry!
The way I do my tutoring is as follows: You let me know what exactly you're having trouble with (e.g. logarithm properties, integration by parts, etc.) and I'll develop a lesson plan before we meet. Once we meet, I'll begin by answering any questions you have about your homework, tests, lecture notes, etc. I can guide you through assigned problems but I can't do your work for you. I'll be more than happy to work step by step on problems that are not assigned to you, however.
I have an 11"x14" double-sided whiteboard we can use if you'd like.
Training & Qualifications
I'm a professional tutor at George Mason University and working on my B.S. in Physics. I've been tutoring for two years, mostly with college students. I've also had experience working with high school students as an instructor at the Mathnasium of Arlington.
