Scheduling help and advice
25
I will help you set up a form of incremental task management for the next week/month. This might include:
• Daily, weekly, and monthly schedule/routine setup
• Planning skills and tools like paper or digital agendas, calendars, desk planners, whiteboards
• Planning your upcoming week with you
• Discussing how to strategically manage time for maximum concentration
• For people who have concerns about their ability to focus, discussing how to account for distraction/procrastination time
Having a clear weekly schedule with time marked out for leisure or work helps alleviate the stress of uncertainty– whether or not you'll finish a project by the deadline, or whether or not you have the time in the day to juggle weekly responsibilities. Setting a scheduling routine that becomes automatic will bring peace of mind. Part of this will rely on your self-discipline after the schedule and task management methods have been set up, but we can discuss ways to keep on track as well.
Training & Qualifications
I do this for myself and a few of my less focused friends pretty frequently! We're all students who have extremely intensive academic programs. Time management and scheduling is really important so we don't get overwhelmed by completing small immediate deadlines in addition to making progress with huge deadlines that are months away.
