I am a hands on, systems thinker finding solutions for our global climate and pollution problems. My major in Science, Technology and Society is interdisciplinary and has allowed me to study in a variety of fields to create a well-rounded knowledge of the issues that face different industries.
After obtaining my associate’s degree in Social Behavior and Self-Development, I have helped both teens and adults with college and career planning through workshops and education sessions. In addition, I have participated in community events to connect students with STEM and environmental technology related fields. I aspire to help people get connected to the resources they need to be successful no matter what disadvantages they may face.
Recently, I have worked with the USGBC to create an activity toolkit for educator’s to teach kids about sustainable practices in a fun way. I would like to continue to work with companies that are making way for positive change on a global scale.
