Why is this something I can speak to? I have been out at my workplace for over 2 years & been an advocate for all LGBTQ+/ minority issues that came up. I have had to reconcile my own phobia with hardcore religeous background. I have been treated badly for being who I am so I feel I can offer quite a bit of some perspective & compassion for others who are in a similar place I was or simply want to know more about what it means to be LGBTQ+ advocate.
