T-shirt Quilts

I will take your old t-shirts and create a warm and snuggly quilt that can be enjoyed and show off your old hobbies, travels, sports teams, etc.
Just provide shirts and materials and I'll piece and machine quilt and bind. I can keep the pattern simple or create a more modern looking blanket if you prefer. But long story short, it can and will shortly be a unique piece that tells your story. It takes at least 8 shirts too make a nice lap blanket, 12 for a twin, 15 or more for a queen/long.
I'll also go with you shopping for materials needed at a fabric shop to help you make color and coordination decisions. That way you can take advantage of my expertise on how a pile of fabrics will make a beautiful finished piece. If you're not in my area, we can consult via email before you ship me the supplies.
Training & Qualifications
I have been sewing since I was a child, learning from my grandmother, a quilter and dressmaker.
I have pieced several quilts over the years and put together many intricate custom Halloween costumes for myself and friends.
Availability & Preferences
I'm typically free in the afternoon and evenings.
