Allison Rossi is currently a Project Coordinator and Executive Assistant at a boutique executive search firm in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Allison studied International Management with a minor in German Studies at Shippensburg University, where she graduated from in May 2013. She currently lives in Tysons Corner, VA and commutes to Reston, VA for work
Outside of work, Allison's hobbies include PC gaming, eSports, tabletop gaming, German language and culture, digital photography, and photo editing.
Her first position outside of college was working with Logi Analytics, a Software as a Service (SaaS) firm in Tysons Corner, VA. There she focused on working between the sales and marketing team doing post-mortem sales analysis, editing marketing White Papers, and writing for the company blog.
Her second position was with a federal government contractor, Verdi Consulting. At Verdi, Allison began working with the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Division of Central Accounting Operations (DCAO), and Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs (OWCP). Her work as support staff dealt with all realms of client deliverables, as well as the DOL’s Agency Financial Report (AFR). After spending several months with the DOL, Allison was moved over to a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) project. At HUD, she worked with the Asset Sales Office (ASO) to assist with their Single Family Loan Sales (SFLS) program.
Since June 2015, Allison has worked with her current company – Northwind Partners. As previously mentioned, Northwind is an executive search firm focusing on placement of senior level management across the aerospace, defense, healthcare, and IT sectors. Her daily work includes interfacing with senior and executive level candidates, as well as scheduling and coordinating travel and interviews for various clients. Other work is on an ad-hoc basis dependent on the client and their needs.
