Hello! My name is Allison! I am a 22 year old student, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, studying Anthropology at the University of Memphis with hopes of going into Archaeology and Museum Studies... one day. For the majority of my time in college, I also studied Japanese and was even lucky enough to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan for an entire year which was, without a doubt, the best year of my life. More of my time was spent focused on having fun (occasionally a bit too much fun) and experiencing as much of the country and its culture as I could, rather than studying for my classes and actually improving my Japanese language skills, the primary reason for my visit, so I was left with many unforgettable memories but still can't hold a conversation in a langauge I spent years learning. The one thing at this point in my life that I am most proud of myself for is that I am a vegetarian, a decision I made due to my great love and compassion for all animals, and I have been one for over 10 years. (Don't worry! No judgement of meat eaters here!) I am a bit of a dork, particularly when it comes to my sense of humor. I am an avid gamer and quite skilled with technology. Music of all kinds fuels my soul, and going to concerts or even just singing and dancing alone makes me feel more alive than anything. I also am most definitely passionate about fashion, and that passion grows, along with my savings, whenever I find a great deal; however, I prefer to look at fashion as an art form, a way to express one's self and unique beauty, rather than all the trends we're told to follow that result in uniformity. show more
