I can tutor middle school and most subjects in high school. I've studied sociology and psychology, the history and theory behind the social sciences, and I have a degree in Anthropology. I can tutor in any science but I'm most knowledgeable in biology. I can tutor in English: language, literature, and essay writing - my minor was predominantly English Lit. My math is mostly limited to pre-algebra, geometry, and algebra 1 & 2.
I can help with homework and projects, but I will not do the work for the student, only guide them in their thinking and studying in order to better prepare them for assessment.
Sessions can range in time, the time will depend on the child's needs.
I can work over Skype and Slack and I'm open to other forms of communication and virtual tutoring, but I will not connect with students over Facebook or other social media accounts. Parents can have my personal cell, but students will need to email or contact me via Slack with any questions.
I'm on track to become a certified teacher through Texas Teachers and would love the chance to gain more experience.
