I studied graphic design and print and graduated with a BS in Graphic Design (apparently they have those). That pretty quickly led to helping enterprise software companies make their products look goo...d and feel better. Five years in and my world is product design, but you can call it UX/UI/Interaction/Visual Design or whatever else you like. I like to think I tell stories.
