Fascinated with the functioning of the human brain, Alberto holds degrees in 'Cognitive Psychology' and 'Psychology of Information Processing and Knowledge Representation', awarded by “La Sapienza”, University of Rome.

After obtaining ‘Chartered Psychologist’ status, Alberto then turned his attention to the role videogames could play in ‘revitalizing minds’, researching and experimenting through the National Council of Research (CNR) in Italy and the independent game scene.

Alberto currently works at UNIT9 as Game Architect, looking at marrying the systemic design of games or gamified experiences with business objectives as laid out by agencies, direct clients or government grants and incentives.
