Loaf of Sourdough Bread
8
I believe that I do not fully own that which I produce -- it is the product of my efforts, but also of my family's contributions, our society's infrastructure, the commons of human knowledge, and it all goes back to the earth, the sun, the atmosphere, the ineffable. So, to make a contribution back to this commons to which we all belong, I commit to sharing out a loaf whenever I bake a batch of sourdough bread.
I've been working on baking sourdough bread for the past few years and I'm proud of what has come out of it! My bread is fermented for over 30 hours and has a wonderful, savory, nourishing taste that blends well with the liveliness of the sourdough flavor. Beats any grocery store sourdough and rivals local artisan bakers. Baked with love in my home kitchen in Albany.
I'd love to share some with you! Can be delivered or picked up.
Training & Qualifications
I'm not much of a baker -- I mostly just bake this sourdough. My sourdough was passed down from a friend and I care for it daily. I have been baking a batch of bread almost every week for the past two years.
