I will read your sci-fi, fantasy, or urban fantasy short story (10,000 word limit) and offer critique and opinions from the perspective of a reader. This is not copyediting nor editing service, but a way for writers to better gauge whether their story makes sense when conveyed to readers, has problematic elements, has plot holes that need to be addressed, etc, before sending your story out into the world to be judged by a wider audience.
Training & Qualifications
I have 7+ years of reviewing experience with a focus on SFF, which can be seen on my blog, bibliotropic.net. I have been a judge in the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off during 2015 and 2016, which has helped me to develop a greater sense of feedback and quality control and the knowledge that self-published authors often skip said quality control steps.
