Looking to buy a new home and have some questions;
Was that new addition done legally?
Are there outstanding violations?
What is the tax history?
These all seem silly and you wont get them from a realtor.
I've learned how to do deep research on this after a friend bought a condo, only to find out later it was an illegal addition to a building and had to be torn down. He spent $350,000 and ended up with nothing.
